 Shipley's Niam Shah is Main Line Student of the Week - November 29, 2020   To read the article on Niam Shah click here    Niam Shah, a senior at The Shipley School, is President of the school’s chapter of DECA, which prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. He is Founder and President of Shipley’s chapter of the Technology Student Association, which include regional, state, and national-level competitions that combine technology, engineering, and writing with creativity and invention. Shah is creator of the board game Master of Disaster, a strategy game involving climate change and natural disasters, and how to prepare and respond to them. During the COVID-19 quarantine he volunteered at a startup named x-quic, a platform that unites small business owners to help them overcome challenges.

 Sacred Heart's Catherine Anuszkiewicz is Main Line Student of the Week - November 22, 2020   To read the article on Catherine Anuszkiewicz click here    A fine student, the Reading resident has made the decision to pursue online learning at Sacred Heart Academy for the foreseeable future. During the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine, she put her guitar playing skills to use by reaching out to a local nursing home and playing music virtually for the residents. She also pursues video editing, and is a competitive horseback rider who received high point champion in three different associations in Louisiana for horseback riding for the 2018-2019 show year. Within the USEF (United States Equestrian Federation), she has received three varsity letters for riding.

 Valley Forge Military Academy's Sein Kim is Main Line Student of the Week - November 15, 2020   To read the article on Sein Kim click here    Sein Kim, a senior and a National Honor Society member, has won numerous awards at Valley Forge Military Academy, including the Blessing Medal, the Rickert Award, the Sanders Medal (twice), Dean of the Academy Medal (three times), Gold Star Honor Roll (three times), the Emigh Medal, the Cadet Achievement Award, the Feehan Medal, the President’s Award, the Herald Trumpets Badge, Best Cadet of the Month Award, the Alumni Miniature Silver Sword Award and the VFMA Sketchbook Literary Medal. He has also received the Harvey Medal for these subjects: Math (twice), Science (twice), Social Studies and Chinese.

 Episcopal Academy's Mary Cipperman is Main Line Student of the Week - November 8, 2020   To read the article on Mary Cipperman click here   A senior, Mary Cipperman is one of this year’s EA Lilley Fellows, and through this prestigious fellowship spent her summer researching and examining voter access legislation in Pennsylvania and the United States. She is also part of the Philadelphia Germination Project, through which she entered and won the Pamela and Ajay Raju Foundation essay contest. She earned a scholarship and worked with the curatorial team at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to select and donate a piece of art - titled “Raising Robotic Natives,” now part of the museum’s permanent collection. She is the president of the Creative Writing Club and one of the editors of the school newspaper, The Scholium.  Villa Maria Academy's Helena Slupianek is Main Line Student of the Week - November 1, 2020   To read the article on Helena Slupianek click here    A senior, Helena Slupianek is co-president of the Student Integrity Committee, through which she created the Reindeer Games, a fundraiser for the Special Olympics of Delaware County - she organized different activities, crafts, and games for Special Olympics athletes to participate in, and other Villa students to volunteer for. Since the age of 7 Slupianek has participated as a unified partner, volunteer, and coach in both swimming and volleyball for the Special Olympics of Delaware County. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society and French Honor Society. Slupianek is a recipient of the Dr. Anne Salmon Thomson Scholarship, which is given to a rising senior at Villa Maria who displays a strong attraction, promise and potential in the field of science.
