Lubin has been participating in ND Ignite, a program through the University of Notre Dame, since she was in 7th grade.

Shipley's Declan Buckley is Main Line Student of the Week - Dec. 15, 2019 To read the article on Declan Buckley click here Buckley, who was elected All School President for the 2019-20 school year, started Help 4 for the Homeless club with two friends. He served on the student Executive Council for two years, was a member of Shipley’s Stage Crew and started a business with another Shipley student. Noted by the Shipley faculty for his maturity, leadership and work ethic, Buckley is also a fine athlete who has played varsity soccer and baseball for Shipley.

Episcopal Academy's Kevin Sporici is Main Line Student of the Week - December 8, 2019 To read the article on Kevin Sporici click here Kevin Sporici, a senior at EA, was a Cum Laude Inductee and this fall won The Bowdoin College Book Award, which is awarded to the member of the rising VI Form who “demonstrates extraordinary service to the Common Good and an unusual passion for inquiry, discovery, and innovative thinking.” The summer before his junior year, at an internship at Jefferson University, Sporici conducted research and was co-author of a paper on GPR55-mediated effects on brain microvascular endothelial cells and the blood–brain barrier. He is active with EA’s Community Service program - volunteering with UCHC and tutoring students at ACLAMO. Sporici is on the varsity swim team, played the piano in the school orchestra, is a co-founder of the Entrepreneur Club, writes for the school newspaper the Scholium, and is the vice president of the Young Democrats c

Villa Maria's Kaira Mack is Main Line Student of the Week - Nov. 28, 2019 To read the article on Kaira Mack click here A senior, Kaira Mack is co-president of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Villa Maria, and for the past two years has facilitated workshops at Speaking Truth at Malvern Prep, a student-lead diversity conference. She is a member of Villa Maria’s Quill and Scroll International Writing Honor Society, and last June received the Saint Michael’s College Book Award for Academic Achievement. She is secretary of the Athletic and Spirit Association, is a reporter for the school’s newspaper Villa Voice, and belongs to the school’s Film Club, French Club and yearbook staff. Last summer, she participated in multiple internships through WorkReady in Philadelphia.
