 Valley Forge Military Academy's Boyuan Wang is Main Line Student of the Week (April 17-23) To read the article on Boyuan Wang click here    A senior at Valley Forge Military Academy, Boyuan Wang is a Gold Star Honor Roll Student, Company Commander of E Battery, a member of the National Honor Society and a member of VFMA’s team for Delco Hi-Q. Wang has been awarded the Harvey Medal four times for excellence in the subject areas of Spanish, Science, Social Studies, and English. He was awarded the Emigh Medal for achieving the highest average in the study of Physics in 2022, and has been taking dual enrollment courses with Valley Forge Military College for two years.

 Episcopal Academy's Gavin Schmidt is Main Line Student of the Week (April 10-16) To read the article on Gavin Schmidt click here     A junior at Episcopal Academy, Gavin Schmidt recently earned first place and a perfect score in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of science (PJAS) Regional Competition in the Ecology category. His project was titled “Effects of pH on carbonate structures and bacteria in the sea.” He has been selected to be one of the co-editors-in-chief of the school newspaper, the Scholium, for the 2023-24 school year. Schmidt is involved with the student-run arts group, the Install It club, and is an active member of Horizons at EA. He also is an active volunteer with EA’s Community Service Corps and the debate club (Junto). Schmidt had an internship last summer with a global non-profit organization called EcoHealth Alliance, where he worked on an environmental project taking place in Liberia.  Merion Mercy Academy's Emily Kallmeyer is Main Line Student of the Week (April 3-9) To read the article on Emily Kallmeyer click here     A junior at Merion Mercy Academy, Emily Kallmeyer is a ministry team core team member, whom Sister Mandy Carrier describes as “an excellent leader who often takes charge, organizes the group, and keeps people motivated. She steps up to serve whenever volunteers are needed.” Kallmeyer also is a Student Leader of Mercy Mission Corps, Merion’s service club, where she organizes and leads events involving serving in our school community and communities in need. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Social Studies Honor Society, a Student ambassador for Blue Key Society, a member of MMA’s environmental club as well as the student newspaper, and runs her own business, Emily’s Cake Pops. A member of the MMA rowing team for three years, she spent last summer at a competitive rowing camp.

 Academy of Notre Dame's Addison Gress is Main Line Student of the Week (March 27-April 2) To read the article on Addison Gress click here   A junior at Academy of Notre Dame, Addison Gress is a member of Notre Dame’s Campus Ministry, and has provided community service at St. Francis Inn and the Fr. Bill Atkinson Service Corps, as well as other community service projects. She attended Notre Dame’s recent service trip to New Orleans, and is a student ambassador, working with the Admissions Office on providing campus tours for prospective students and families. She also plays field hockey and golf for the Academy of Notre Dame. Outside of school, Gress is a part of the team Stronger for a Cause in the Student Visionaries of the Year fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
