 Valley Forge Military Academy's Alvin Chen is Main Line Student of the Week - December 26, 2021 To read the article on Alvin Chen click here     A senior at Valley Forge Military Academy, Alvin Chen is president of the school’s Chinese Club, treasurer of the National Honor Society, a member of the Community Service Club, the Snare Drum Section Leader in the Regimental Band and represents VFMA in the Delco Hi-Q academic quiz competitions. His honors received include Dean’s Medal (each of the past three years), The McCloskey Medal, Harvey Medal for Chinese, The Arguello Medal, Cadet Accommodation Ribbon, Midyear Plebe award, Harvey Medal for Science, Best Cadet of the Month and Anthony Wayne Legion Guard.

Sacred Heart Academy's Emily Hart is Main Line Student of the Week - December 19, 2021   To read the article on Emily Hart click here   A junior at Sacred Heart Academy, Emily Hart is founder of the Network Club for high school students at the 25 Sacred Heart schools in the United States and Canada. At Sacred Heart Academy, she is a dialogue leader for the group Courageous Conversations as well as a member of the school’s Girls in Medicine Club, an Admissions Ambassador and  a member of the school choir (for the past nine years). Hart was one of 20 founding members chosen from across Sacred Heart Network schools to form the Network Student Advisory Council (NSAC). With the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, she is a leader of Solidarity and Sustainability Virtual Dialogue Program and a participant in Network Exchange (both in person and virtual) and Network Summer Service. Hart was a recipient of the Founder’s Award from the Emergency Aid Foundation in Wayne in 2020.

 Academy of Notre Dame's Jordyn Williams is Main Line Student of the Week - Dec. 12, 2021   To read the article on Jordyn Williams click here    A senior, Jordyn Williams is president of the Academy of Notre Dame Chapter of the National Honor Society and is an active Student Council Representative for the Class of 2022. She is a leader of the Upper School tutoring program and is helping the Middle School Director and Associate Head of School start a Middle School tutoring club. She will be representing Academy of Notre Dame at the upcoming National Coalition of Girls Schools “Girls’ School Advantage” event.  

Haverford School's Elijah Lee is Main Line Student of the Week - Dec. 2, 2021

 Haverford School's Elijah Lee is Main Line Student of the Week - Dec. 2, 2021   To read the article on Elijah Lee click here      Elijah Lee, a senior at The Haverford School, recently completed a three-year project of 3D printing a full-scale carbon cello, and his interest in this field led him to found Forte3D. Lee is the co-president of the School’s a cappella group The Notables and serves as the president of the Haverford Orchestra. He serves as one of only five Tour Guide Captains, meaning that he is a main figure that prospective families see when they visit Haverford. He is a member of the Haverford Materials Group (soft robotics) and has placed first in the Soft Robotics Toolkit Design Competition. Lee was published in the Soft Robotics journal and Journal of Chemical Education. His interest in soft robotics has also led him to several conference presentations, including one at NASA. Lee is also a member of Haverford’s VEX Robotics team that captured the state

 Episcopal Academy's Kathryn Lynn is Main Line Student of the Week - Nov. 25, 2021   To read the article on Kathryn Lynn click here    Kathryn Lynn, a senior at Episcopal Academy, is part of EQV, a leadership group (selected by EA teachers/Upper School administrators) that worked with freshmen during their leadership course in the fall and is currently leading a seminar for sophomores. Lynn co-founded the Forensics Club and spent last summer working on a self-initiated research project at Wills Eye Hospital. She is a senior member of the Annenberg Science Symposium, a leader of the Medical Explorers Club, and an active member of the Classics Club, and on the board of EA’s Community Service Board. She is also an accomplished cross country runner in the fall (placed seventh at the recent PAISAA state championships), plays on girls’ ice hockey club team outside of EA in the winter and will be a captain of EA’s track team in the spring.
