 Shipley's Abigail Kanes is Main Line Student of the Week - January 31, 2021   To read the article on Abigail Kanes click here     A senior at The Shipley School, Abigail Kanes is a standout student and a creative singer/musician/actor. Kanes belongs to the school’s Glee Club, the Shipley Jazz honors combo and the Shipley Singers (the school’s auditioned a cappella group), and participates in three major theatrical productions each year at Shipley. Outside of Shipley, she is associate principal bassist for the Delaware County Youth Orchestra and for the past 10 years has participated in seasonal acting roles at the Hedgerow Theater Company.

 Academy of Notre Dame's Bryn O'Hara is Main Line Student of the Week - January 24, 2021   To read the article on Bryn O'Hara click here     A senior at Academy of Notre Dame, Bryn O’Hara is a standout member of the school’s Global Citizen Scholars program, an application-based cohort. She has embraced her leadership role on Model UN, co-hosting meetings once a cycle with underclass students, and helping to register Academy of Notre Dame’s chapter for the Harvard Model UN virtual conference in January. In AP Spanish, she recently participated in Academy of Notre Dame’s virtual debate with Devon Prep on whether or not Internet access was a fundamental global right. O’Hara also has been participating in Academy of Notre Dame’s Social Justice Nights, where she logs on through Google Meet to listen to a variety of guest speakers share their experiences with current social justice issues in society.  Villa Maria Academy's Lia Ritchie is Main Line Student of the Week - January 24, 2021   To read the article on Lia Ritchie click here     A senior at Villa Maria Academy, Lia Ritchie is the president of Tech Club and is a member of the school’s Music Ministry’s leadership team. She is also the graphic designer for the school’s newspaper and is on the layout staff for Festival. Ritchie is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and Quill and Scroll Honor Society. She freelances art outside of school and has been commissioned for logos and custom emotes over the Internet.  Sacred Heart Academy's Bella O'Toole is Main Line Student of the Week - January 10, 2021   To read the article on Bella O'Toole click here     A junior at Sacred Heart Academy, Bella O’Toole has been recognized by Sacred Heart each school year for achieving more than 50 hours of community service. For the past three years, O’Toole has been a captain of the school’s Committee of Games program, in which she works to encourage school spirit among community members. This year, O’Toole has participated in the Network Club, in which she and other SHA students connect with other Sacred Heart schools around the country in order to foster a relationship and learn from one another. As a sophomore at SHA, O’Toole earned the highest academic honors, and earned academic honors distinction as a freshman.  Valley Forge Military Academy's Robert Wolfe is Main Line Student of the Week - January 3, 2021   To read the article on Robert Wolfe click here     A senior at VFMA, Robert Wolfe is a member of the National Honor Society and last spring was the recipient of the Dean of the Academy Medal, given at the end of the school year to cadets who have completed the full four consecutive marking periods - with a gold star in each period, achieved by maintaining at least a 93 percent cumulative grade-point average. Wolfe achieved the Gold Star Honor Roll – students who achieved a general academic average of at least 93 percent with no subject less than 80 percent – during both the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years. A well-rounded student, he has earned Harvey Medals in 2020 for English 2nd Class, Science 2nd Class and Spanish 4.
