Malvern Prep's Jordan Wright is Main Line Student of the Week - Feb. 10, 2019 To read the article on Jordan Wright click here The Malvern Prep senior is president of the school’s Diversity Awareness Club (DAC), will be leading an affinity group in the middle school later on this month and has been on the planning committee for Malvern’s annual diversity conference for two years running, which is called st@MP (Speaking Truth at Malvern Prep). Wright was a participant at the Student Augustinian Values Institute (SAVI) and, during his sophomore year, took Ignatian College Connection leadership classes at Saint Joseph’s University. He is also a member of the Malvern Theater Society and is playing the role of Albert for the school’s spring performance of "Newsies." Wright has served as a mentor in the school’s Adelphia Society and has run winter and spring track for the Friars.

Agnes Irwin's Annabel Gavin is Main Line Student of the Week - Feb. 3, 2019 To read the article on Annabel Gavin click here Gavin was one of only 20 students in the United States selected to participate in Stanford’s inaugural China Scholars Program, an online course that is part of SPICE (Stanford Program on International and Cross-cultural Education). The Agnes Irwin senior is currently taking French V Honors and has earned distinctions on two national French contests. A passionate vegan, Gavin is a co-head of the upper school’s ECO board and co-founded the Sustainable Living Club. Last spring, Gavin was chosen by the AIS faculty for the George Washington University book prize for “a high school junior who embodies the George Washington drive and spirit, specifically with her academic excellence, leadership outside of the classroom, diversity of thought, and ability to put knowledge into action.” Gavin has participated in Model UN and served as an AIS tour guid
