Villa Maria Academy's Julie Satterthwaite is Main Line Student of the Week - Oct. 27, 2019 To read the article on Julie Satterthwaite click here Julie Satterthwaite, a senior, is President of her school’s National Honor Society chapter, and is a member of the French Honor Society, Math Honor Society and Quill and Scroll Honor Society. She has received numerous awards in social studies, religion and French at Villa Maria, and received a piano scholarship the second semester of her sophomore year. For her Capstone project, she will be shadowing a pediatric emergency doctor fellow at the Children’s Hospital in Boston.

Malvern Prep's Christian Siaton is Main Line Student of the Week - Oct. 20, 2019 To read the article on Christian Siaton click here A senior, Siaton is a member of both the Bellesini Honor Society and a member of the National Science Honor Society. He is a leader for Malvernians Encountering Christ in Others (MECO), and was part of a Malvern Prep team that won an award for “most groundbreaking topic” for its presentation at the Annenberg Symposium. He also belongs to Mathletes and Malvern Prep’s Asian Culture and Student Association, and was a mentor with the Adelphia Society last year. Other activities he belongs to at Malvern Prep are Outdoors Club, Stock Market Club, and the varsity tennis and soccer teams.

Haverford School's Vincent Scauzzo is Main Line Student of the Week - Oct. 13, 2019 To read the article on Vincent Scauzzo click here Vincent Scauzzo, a senior, serves as The Haverford School’s Student Body President. He also serves as a Features editor of the School’s newspaper The Index, and is a member of the school’s Choir. Scauzzo is in his second year as captain of the Fords’ cross country team, and is a member of Haverford’s winter and spring track and field teams. Outside of Haverford, he serves as an acolyte and a verger at his church, and works as a golf caddie at the St. David’s Golf Club. He was inducted into The Haverford School’s Cum Laude society last year, and was also awarded the Coach’s Award for cross country last fall.

Shipley's Lily Nevo is Main Line Student of the Week - October 6, 2019 To read the article on Lily Nevo click here The Shipley senior is the Editor of Beacon, the school newspaper, and has worked summer programs with New York Times for the past three summers. Nevo is involved in a number of service and community projects, including Positive Paws, Ronald McDonald House, Summer Bridge and Student Philanthropy Club. She has been a member of Shipley’s Glee Club since ninth grade, and is a member of Shipley’s Action Research team. Nevo also is an avid figure skater and dancer.
