Episcopal Academy's Tina Ying is Main Line Student of the Week - Jan. 26, 2020 To read the article on Tina Ying click here A senior, Tina Ying is captain of EA’s Dance Team and a member of the school’s Improv Club. She danced in a lead role (Dew Drop Fairy) in the Rock School’s production of the Nutcracker. She has been a featured dancer in EA’s productions of Les Miserables, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Grease. Agnes Irwin's Waring Fleitas is Main Line Student of the Week - Jan. 19, 2020 To read the article on Waring Fleitas click here A senior, Fleitas has taken numerous honors courses at Agnes Irwin and two year ago enrolled in a pre-college medical summer program through the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC). Last spring, Fleitas raised money for medical research by joining an arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual “Student of the Year” contest. Valley Forge Military Academy's Aleksandre Jolia is Main Line Student of the Week - Jan. 12, 2020 To read the article on Aleksandre Jolia click here A senior and Cadet Captain, Jolia finished in first place in the 2019 Dunaway Speaking Competition, and this year has received the Good Citizenship Award, The Alumni Miniature Silver Sword Award, The Harvey Medal for Social Studies 2nd Class, Best Cadet of the Month Award (April) and a Cadet Commendation Ribbon. Jolia, who is a member of the Gold Star Honor Roll, also is the Public Affairs Officer on the Regimental Staff in the Corps of Cadets.

Villa Maria's Maggie Powers is Main Line Student of the Week - January 5, 2020 To read the article on Maggie Powers click here Maggie Powers, a senior at Villa Maria, is the student body president and is a member of the National Honors Society, Math Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, Peer Ministry and Pennsylvania Math League. Last summer, she attended Villa Maria’s service trip to New Mexico, where time was spent learning more about the Navajo Native American culture and cleaning up Saint Mary’s Mission that gives food, clothing, shelter and support to the Navajo Native Americans. Merion Mercy's Emma Carter is Main Line Student of the Week - Dec. 29, 2019 To read the article on Emma Carter click here A senior, Emma Carter is a leader of eight clubs at Merion Mercy, including Dance Troupe(choreographer), STEAM Club, Harry Potter Club, Literary Bears Book Club, Strategy and Video Gaming Club (is also the founder of this club), Sirens of Baggot Street (service singing group), Shakespeare Club and Anime Club. Carter is a member of National Honor Society, Mu Theta Math Honor Society and Tri M Music Honor Society.
