Sacred Heart Academy's Annie DeFrancesco is Main Line Student of the Week - April 19, 2020 To read the article on Annie DeFrancesco click here A junior at Sacred Heart Academy, Annie DeFrancesco is a Community Service Corps representative for the junior class at SHA. Since her freshman year, she has taken honors classes, and since her sophomore year she has been in Adavanced Placement courses. DeFrancesco is one of the founders of, and a leader of, the school’s Reading Olympics team. Last December, she was selected to be a Kairos leader. She participates in the school’s Book Club, and is a member of the Sacred Heart basketball team.

Agnes Irwin's Colette Cavazos is Main Line Student of the Week - April 12, 2020 To read the article on Colette Cavazos click here A senior, Colette Cavazos is a two-year Highest Honors student, a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship Program and a recipient of Agnes Irwin’s Jefferson Book Award. She has been a member of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra for 3 years, and is a 13-year member of the Music School of Delaware Honors Program. Cavazos is President of, and composes music for, the Bel Cantos, AIS’s audition-only a cappella group. She writes her own poetry, and founded the Book Club at Agnes Irwin. Cavazos is also an avid artist, and served on the school’s Art Council.

Villa Maria's Breton Console is Main Line Student of the Week - April 5, 2020 To read the article on Breton Console click here A senior, Breton Console is a two-year member of the Student Advisory Board, and serves as the Events Coordinator for the Student Council Executive Board. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the SpeakUp Organization Student Leadership Team and Peer Ministry. Console twice earned honorable mention in the National French Contest, and plays two sports (field hockey, track and field) for Villa Maria. Last summer, she was part of the Navajo Nation service trip to New Mexico.
