An excellent student who has received distinguished honors for every semester at MMA, she is the National Honor Society president at Merion Mercy. She is a leader for Women for Life and Love, as well as the Ministry Core Team at MMA. Giannini is Mathletes president and a participant in Community Service Corps and SpeakUp! She was named “Miss Mercy” by her peers and is captain of the MMA soccer and lacrosse teams.

A straight A student, Johnson tutors students at her former school, Gesu School in Philadelphia, is a senior ambassador at Shipley, is school yearbook editor, is a member of the crew team and has participated in the Big Brother/Big Sister program.

Villa Maria Academy's Elizabeth D'Ascenzo is Main Line Student of the Week - Nov. 4, 2018 To read the article on Elizabeth D'Ascenzo click here The Villa Maria senior is executive student council president, was selected to represent Villa Maria at the HOBY seminar in the summer of 2017, was the recipient of the Villanova Book Award and The Andrea Thompson Award and is a member of the school’s music ministry and a participant with Global Sister Initiative. She was selected as a member of the National Academic Squad for High School 2017 by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association and was a member of the Villa Maria field hockey team that won the PIAA Class AA state championship last fall.
