 Merion Mercy Academy's Jenny McMonagle is Main Line Student of the Week (Dec. 11-17) To read the article on Jenny McMonagle click here      A senior at Merion Mercy, Jenny McMonagle is a member of the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Math Honors Society and Social Studies Honor Society, and is a winner of the Sweeney STEM Scholarship. She was part of the Merion Mercy sophomore ministry team that traveled to Boston for the Global Forum on Girls Education III hosted by the International Coalition of Girls Schools, and her team’s “Drawing from the Well of Mercy” project won an NCGS Moulton Student Global Citizen grant. McMonagle raised more than $1,400 for the organization Miles for Migraine and organized a team of 30 for the annual walk. She is a leader of the Blue Key Society, the leader and founder of the school’s Ukulele Band and Tri-M Music Honor Society Co-President.  Academy of Notre Dame's Soledad Quainoo is Main Line Student of the Week (Dec. 4-10) To read the article on Soledad Quainoo click here     A junior at Academy of Notre Dame, Soledad Quainoo was an integral part of the success of Notre Dame’s inaugural Sisters in STEM Symposium, as she was one of three students chosen to introduce keynote speaker Dr. Mae Jemison, former NASA astronaut and the first woman of color in space. A Global Scholar and Girl Scout of 12 years, Soledad Quainoo is also a leader of Notre Dame’s Model United Nations and is involved in the Future Business Leaders of America. She is a member of the Black Student Union, Mandarin Club, Environmental Club, Diversity Club, and serves the community in many ways, including volunteering with Cradles to Crayons.

 The Grayson School's Morgan Burns is Main Line Student of the Week (Nov. 27-Dec. 3) To read the article on Grayson Burns click here     A senior at The Grayson School, Morgan Burns started a nonprofit dedicated to promoting scientific literacy in schools, providing a introductory course on genetic engineering and lab techniques for middle schools called GenomeGenius, secured grant funding for materials and taught this course last summer with the support of her science teacher. She founded the school’s VEX Robotics Club, captained teams 7517C and 46779A for six years, participated in several state competitions, and received the Build Award at the Philadelphia regional competition. She proposed to administration, founded, and led a school-wide community-building organization at The Grayson School called Gryphons and Grifflings, planning mentorship events and initiatives for all grades.
