Main Line Student of the Week

 Malvern Prep's Kyle Worsnup is Main Line Student of the Week (Oct. 17-23)  A junior at Malvern Prep, Kyle Worsnup has achieved Distinguished Honors, and is a member of the Adelphia Society, which matches 11th-grade student leaders, called Adelphia Mentors, with incoming 9th-grade students.  Merion Mercy Academy's Kamaini Kegler is Main Line Student of the Week (Oct. 10-16)  A senior at Merion Mercy, Kamani Kegler is the president of Merion Mercy’s Black Student Union (BSU) and co-captain of the Dance Troupe. On Sept. 24, after a BSU picnic on Mercy Day, Kegler and three of her classmates went downtown to hand out more than 25 plates of food to the homeless in Philadelphia.  Villa Maria Academy's Mary Cate Doughty is Main Line Student of the Week (Oct. 3-9)  Mary Cate Doughty, a senior at Villa Maria Academy, is National Honor Society president, Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, The Villa Voice, co-president of our Women in Medicine club, President of the Respect Life Club, Senior Class President for the Student Council, a member of the Student Integrity Committee, a pole vaulter for the Hurricanes’ track team and a captain for Villa Maria’s swimming and diving team. Outside of school, she is a member of the Student Advisory Board for Pennsylvanians for Human Life, performs pole vault for Philadelphia Jumps Club, and is a diver for West Chester Diving.  Malvern Prep's Jimmy Bruder is Main Line Student of the Week (Sept. 26-Oct. 2)  A junior at Malvern Prep, Jimmy Bruder is a Distinguished and First Honors student. He is a member of the Youth Leadership Academy at Neumann and a recipient of the Youth in Excellence Award. He is a Manga/comic artist who created the Malvern Homecoming T-shirt design last year, and was a presenter at Learning Demonstration Night. He also plays soccer for Malvern Prep.
