A senior, Helena Slupianek is co-president of the Student Integrity Committee, through which she created the Reindeer Games, a fundraiser for the Special Olympics of Delaware County - she organized different activities, crafts, and games for Special Olympics athletes to participate in, and other Villa students to volunteer for. Since the age of 7 Slupianek has participated as a unified partner, volunteer, and coach in both swimming and volleyball for the Special Olympics of Delaware County. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society and French Honor Society. Slupianek is a recipient of the Dr. Anne Salmon Thomson Scholarship, which is given to a rising senior at Villa Maria who displays a strong attraction, promise and potential in the field of science. She has won a silver medal (in 2018) and a bronze medal (in 2019) in the National French Contest. Slupianek is an accomplished swimmer and co-captain of the Villa Maria swimming team, which has won the PIAA District 1 AA team title the past three years. Last summer, she completed an online Data Analysis certificate course through Temple University, which included three courses - Introduction to Data Analysis, Intermediate Data Analysis and Advanced Data Analysis.
