Ava Roberts, a senior at Episcopal Academy, was recently selected as a National Merit Semifinalist and inducted into the Cum Laude Society. She was awarded the Paul Thompson Prize for American History, the Williams College Prize for the highest scholarship in the senior class, and the Harvard Club Prize, which is given to the senior who demonstrates excellence in scholarship, character, school spirit, influence and all-around ability. She is also on the board of Community Service Corps, and volunteers for Food4Philly. Roberts is the editor of the school’s yearbook, The Tabula, and writes for the school newspaper, The Scholium, and is involved with many clubs at EA, including the Creative Writing Club, Ethics Club, Key Club, Forensics Club and Fashion Club. She also competes in soccer and track at EA.
