A senior, Evans is President of the Notables, an Acapella group that travels internationally, and serves as a soloist, as well as a leader in connecting other school groups, scheduling rehearsals and performances and leading auditions. He was part of a Philadelphia Independence award-winning tap dance ensemble, was nominated best male vocalist for Something Rotten and was nominated for best featured actor in Les Miserables. Evans is a Gospel recording artist and writer, and released his first single, “Hooked,” in 2020. Evans recorded a seven-song album “Not 2 Young” on all streaming platforms. He was nominated for the national gospel award show “The Stellar Awards” for “Youth Artist” and was nominated for a local award ceremony highlighting gospel music in the tri-state area called the Kindred Awards for “Best New Artist Category.” He received the 2023 Kappa Alpha Psi Northeastern Province Leon Stewart Award, recognizing the most outstanding member of a Guide Right Program. Evans also received the 2023 Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. “National High School Student of the Year” competition first-place award. He serves as Service Board Council Co-President at Haverford School, is a tour guide captain and a Peer Counseling Leader.
