  A junior at Academy of Notre Dame, Anna O’Neill is an active Global Scholar, and has participated in a number of global dialogue sessions on topics such as “Decoding the News” and the war in Ukraine, and she also has been involved in “pen pal” style global sessions with Notre Dame’s sister school in Singapore. She was selected to be a member of Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon’s Congressional Youth Cabinet, and recently applied for the Citizen Diplomat Academy. O’Neill will be one of the participants in the STEM Symposium, a one-week event next summer with six sister schools in six countries – Argentina, Canada, Japan, Peru, Singapore, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. She also is a member of Model UN, Mock Trial, Spanish Club, Student Council, Student Ambassadors, American Sign Language Club and Women in Leadership as well as Academy of Notre Dame’s Inter-Ac champion cross country team.
