 Shipley's Peyton Turner is Main Line Student of the Week - June 6, 2021

The junior is co-President of the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) committee at Shipley, is a leader with the school’s Black Student Union, and is a member of the youth advisory board with The Impact Center. She has served more than 100 hours of community service, including at the Jane Addams Place shelter. Turner plays cello for the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, plays in the Ann Newmann string quartet for Settlement Music School’s Advanced Chamber Ensemble, and takes lessons from Gloria dePasquale, a cellist in the Philadelphia Orchestra. Turner is a Junior Deacon at the Bethlehem Baptist Church and plays field hockey and lacrosse for Shipley.

 Episcopal Academy's Naomi Isaac-Hyman is Main Line Student of the Week - Sept. 19, 2021 To read the article on Naomi Isaac-Hyman click here     A senior at Episcopal Academy, Naomi Isaac-Hyman was recently selected as a fellow for the Bronfman Fellowship, a program that accepts only 26 rising Jewish high school seniors from across the United States (and Canada). Isaac-Hyman is a talented violinist and plays in EA’s Chamber Orchestra. She is also involved with the theater program and has performed in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Walk Two Moons, and Fiddler on the Roof. She worked on the Tech Crew for the production of Les Miserables. Isaac-Hyman is an active member of the Classics Club, QSA, and is the president of the school’s “nerd club”: Fantastic Nerds and Where to Find Them. Haverford School's Vincent Scauzzo is Main Line Student of the Week - Oct. 13, 2019 To read the article on Vincent Scauzzo click here Vincent Scauzzo, a senior, serves as The Haverford School’s Student Body President. He also serves as a Features editor of the School’s newspaper The Index, and is a member of the school’s Choir. Scauzzo is in his second year as captain of the Fords’ cross country team, and is a member of Haverford’s winter and spring track and field teams. Outside of Haverford, he serves as an acolyte and a verger at his church, and works as a golf caddie at the St. David’s Golf Club. He was inducted into The Haverford School’s Cum Laude society last year, and was also awarded the Coach’s Award for cross country last fall.
