A senior at EA, Buccini is the co-founder and president of the Artist Co-op Club, a writer and illustrator for the school newspaper, The Scholium, and has worked on murals on campus. Most recently she worked on a book-inspired mural in the Upper School before school shifted to remote learning in March. She makes and sells handmade jewelry (Jojo’s Jewelry) and donates 100 percent of the proceeds to the Ddx3x Foundation, where she is also a volunteer. A talented artist, Buccini is a Dora Khayatt Award (EA art award) winner. She has interned at the Brandywine River Museum and worked for many years as a camp counselor with neurotypical and developmentally delayed children at a horseback riding camp. Buccini is a member of the dance team, Community Service Corps, French Club, Improv Club, and participates in Model UN. Last year, she served as the editor of EA’s arts publication, the Epolitan.
