Noble Brigham, a junior at EA, is an accomplished student with a passion for archival research and work. Last summer, he spent several weeks in Scotland working as an auction house intern. He has conducted extensive work in EA’s vast archives and recently helped on a book about the history of squash at EA. He also volunteers as an historian at his church in Overbrook, and served in the same capacity for Lower Merion Township for two years. Along with his archival work, Brigham is involved with EA’s community outreach board - which includes weekly tutoring sessions at ACLAMO, which is an afterschool program and social agency for Latino families and children in Norristown, twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays in which the volunteers work with the elementary school students, helping them through their math, spelling, and reading homework. Brigham is an editor for the school newspaper The Scholium, is an active member of Model UN and will be President of the World Affairs Club next year. Brigham also manages the girls cross country team. Since 5th grade he has been a regular visitor at Saunders House. He joined Young Democrats at the beginning of his freshman year, served as a vice president his sophomore year, and this year as a president. Brigham is also a Political Researcher for High School Democrats of Pennsylvania. This summer, he will be interning at Freeman's Auction in Philadelphia and The Archives of the Episcopal Church in Austin, Texas.
