Valley Forge Military Academy's Kevin Errasquin-Flandes is Main Line Student of the Week - November 22, 2018

The VFMA senior is a multiple Gold Star Honor Roll winner (general academic average of at least 93 percent, with no subject less than 80 percent) and a recipient of the Head of School Medal, which is awarded to a cadet who has earned Gold Star Honor Roll for all four marking periods during a school year. He is a two-time recipient of the Harvey Medal for a cadet who excels in the area of social studies, a recipient of the Harvey Medal for Science and a recipient of the McCloskey Medal, presented to those cadets who have attained the highest disciplinary reputation in their respective class.
He finished second in the annual British Officers’ Club of Philadelphia Essay Contest, is president of the school’s Community Service Club and won VFMA’s Community Service Club Award, presented to those members of the club who have completed the most service hours this year. He also received the Dawn 2 Dusk Service Award, presented to cadets for having successfully completed 29 hours of community service, going above and beyond to help runners at the Dawn 2 Dusk track ultras.
He was selected to participate in the pilot dual enrollment program with Valley Forge Military College to complete the Cybersecurity Certificate, has enrolled in the appropriate college courses and will complete the program and earn the certificate when he graduates. He is also a recipient of a Widener Leadership Award.
