Agnes Irwin's Saguna Malhotra is Main Line Student of the Week - December 9, 2018

Malhotra, a straight A student and National Merit semifinalist, is co-head of both Agnes Irwin’s ECO (Environmental) Board and the Council for the Advancement of Girls, which is the student arm of AIS’ Center for the Advancement of Girls. She’s the director of communications for the school robotics team, which regularly competes at regional competitions. She also participates in AIS’s student-run fashion magazine Skirt, STEM club and world affairs council.
For the last three summers, she has had an internship at the UPenn Science summer research lab; after ninth grade, she helped with the clinical studies of how light can cause migraines and possible blindness. Last summer, she also interned with GenHERation, a company that works to forge a network for high school and college girls in the corporate world.
