The Villa Maria Academy junior received Outstanding Achievement Awards in both science and math (algebra) and was recently nominated for the Liberty Museum and TD Bank’s Young Heroes Award. In college, she wants to study urban planning and nonprofit management with a focus on international urban planning and has taken an online class with a college in Singapore called Future Cities. Last summer, she traveled to Malawi, Africa (the third-poorest country in the world), for 18 days to work with Pamoza International, whose mission is to unite people in alleviating suffering and despair through Christian outreach and sustainable community development in the areas of education, entrepreneurship, agriculture and health. Rago has organized several fundraisers at Villa Maria for Pamoza International.
