She also is a contributing writer and social media manager for Generocity, a local social impact media outlet grounded in community engagement, and has volunteered since her freshman year at the College Bound Opportunities (CBO) Heights Philadelphia’s annual Equity Summit held at the University of Pennsylvania.

 Academy of Notre Dame’s Katie Barth is Main Line Student of the Week (Jan. 13-19) To read the article on Katie Barth click here A senior at Academy of Notre Dame, Katie Barth is a Global Citizen Scholar candidate, a Blue and Gold Key Society member, and active member of Mock Trial and Model UN clubs and started Academy of Notre Dame’s Book Club. She has volunteered through National Charity League for the past five years, and has volunteered at Mitzvah Circle for years, organizing a shoe drive and collecting over 100 pairs of shoes which she delivered to them this past summer. Barth also has worked in soup kitchens, stocked pantry shelves, helped at Special Olympics events, led activities with elderly and made blankets for children in hospitals. She held the position of Co-Vice President of Philanthropy within National Charity League last year for her age group, and organized volunteer activities in that position.  The Grayson School’s Miles Hong is Main Line Student of the Week (Jan. 6-12) To read the article on Miles Hong click here A senior at The Grayson School, Miles Hong spoke at the AAPI History rally at the state capitol in Harrisburg in May, advocating for HB 779 / SB 839. This legislation aims to incorporate AAPI history in all Pennsylvania schools, making a significant step toward educational equity with accurate information about Asian American & Pacific Islander history and culture. He actively volunteers with NGO Make Us Visible Pennsylvania along with his family to support this important cause. Hong earned a score of 4 on the AP Calc BC exam after learning integrals over the summer and is currently studying Multivariable Calculus.  

Haverford School’s Conor McDonald is Main Line Student of the Week (Dec. 30 – Jan. 5)

 Haverford School’s Conor McDonald is Main Line Student of the Week (Dec. 30 – Jan. 5) To read the article on Conor McDonald click here A senior at The Haverford School, Conor McDonald is president of the VEX Robotics Club, which captured the 2024 Eastern PA state championship. He is also a member of the Signet Society and Model UN, as well as the Math Club President and the President and founder of the Quiz Bowl Club. A Commended National Merit Scholar, McDonald participates in the Academic Mentorship Program, mentoring 6th graders at Haverford School. He also plays varsity soccer for Haverford School (is the starting midfielder), and is an Eagle Scout and Senior Patrol Leader (the highest leadership position) of his Boy Scout troop.  

Episcopal Academy’s Maya Raman is Main Line Student of the Week (Dec. 23-29)

 Episcopal Academy’s Maya Raman is Main Line Student of the Week (Dec. 23-29) To read the article on Maya Raman click here A senior at Episcopal Academy, Maya Raman is a National Merit semifinalist and is a passionate musician who plays the bass and cello in the Chamber Orchestra, and plays the piano as well. She is a volunteer with EA’s Horizons program, and is a member of the Diversity Club, Asian American Student Union, and is a student facilitator of EA’s SpeakUp! Programming. Raman often volunteers on Mondays at Episcopal Academy’s weekly Students Serve Club that works to support EA’s community partners. She also plays soccer, squash and track & field for the Churchwomen.
