 Episcopal Academy’s Lilian Wang is Main Line Student of the Week (May 12-18)

Lilian Wang, a junior at Episcopal Academy, recently earned first place in the regional round of PJAS (Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science) with her topic of Tangent Lines and Their Intersections on Elliptic Curves. She also competes on the Upper School robotics team, and is a competitive chess player and spends weekends at U.S. and international tournaments. Wang participated in the summer Lilley independent study program, and explored the norms of composition operators on linear functions. She also serves as a volunteer who teaches youths chess and a computer programming language.
