 Haverford School's Jackson Raleigh is Main Line Student of the Week (April 22-28) To read the article on Jackson Raleigh click here A senior at The Haverford School, Jackson Raleigh was elected to the school’s Honor Council and Signet Society and has been inducted into the school’s Cum Laude Society and Hephaestus Society. He won the “Class and School Spirit Award” given to the student in each class who best represents the ideals of citizenship, leadership and service. Raleigh has appeared in a number of roles in Haverford School’s musical and theater productions, is a member of Model United Nations and Peer Counseling and is a Haverford School Tour Guide. He is a multi-sport athlete at Haverford School, playing soccer and lacrosse.

 Friends' Central School Rita Tang is Main Line Student of the Week (April 15-21) To read the article on Rita Tang click here A junior at Friends’ Central, Rita Tang is from Chengdu, China. Tang was one of two FCS Upper School students who recently qualified to take the American Invitational Math Exam (AIME) based on their performance on the American Math Contest-12, a three-hour test that will determine the nationwide ranking of the two students. She is currently working on a science project involving DNA barcoding of native bees on Friends’ Central’s City Avenue campus and wild bees from Maine. Most recently, she has identified (together with FCS sophomore Yaya Guo) two longhorn bees, and her DNA sequences have been included in the International Barcode of Life (BOLD) database as reference sequences. Her efforts are helping Friends’ Central to have a clearer understanding of which bee and moth species are present on their campus and which species can be found at the field station

 Merion Mercy Academy’s Sarah D’Alessandro is Main Line Student of the Week (April 8-14) To read the article on Sarah D'Alessandro click here A junior at Merion Mercy, Sarah D’Alessandro is a leader with the Mercy Mission Corps and is part of the Diversity Leadership Team. She is a member of National Honor Society, National Math Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society, Student Council, Mathletes, Blue Key Society, Diploma with Distinction, Ministry, Liturgical Choir, Orchestra and Merion Mercy Music Theater. She also belongs to the Ukulele Club and plays cello and piano.

 Valley Forge Military Academy’s Benjamin Ramasute is Main Line Student of the Week (April 1-7) To read the article on Benjamin Ramasute click here A junior at Valley Forge Military Academy, Benjamin Ramasute earned the Dean’s Medal for achieving Gold Star Honor Roll during all four marking periods of the 2022-23 school year. He also is a member of the school’s Community Service Club, National Honor Society and Multicultural Club. Ramasute is participating in this year’s PA Science Fair and will be attending Boys State Leadership Program in the summer. He is a multisport athlete at VFMA (cross country, swimming).

 Episcopal Academy’s Michael DiMonte is Main Line Student of the Week (March 25-31) To read the article on Michael DiMonte click here A junior at Episcopal Academy, Michael DiMonte directed, edited, and produced his first feature film/documentary, “Driving Delco,” which made its premiere at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville in the summer of 2022. He has also written up a script for a follow-up movie to “Driving Delco.” DiMonte is Vice President of Student Council at EA, and is a year-round athlete at Episcopal Academy, competing in cross country, indoor track and spring track for the Churchmen.

 The Grayson School's Dash Menschik is Main Line Student of the Week (March 18-24) To read the article on Dash Menschik click here A senior at The Grayson School, Dash Menschik is a founding member of the school’s rapidly-expanding VEX Robotics program, and led his team to the semifinals of their most recent tournament in January. His team also has made consecutive appearances at the VEX Pennsylvania State Championship during the past two years. He is one of the founding member of Grayson’s Middle School Mentoring program. Menschik has participated in the Nanoengineering at Engineering Summer at Penn (ESAP) program as well as video game design and creation at Carnegie Mellon University’s National High School Video Game Academy summer program, where he collaborated with a team to create a roguelike, platformer, mobile video game -- set in a dystopian future, players navigate a building, defeat enemies, and gain powers to attempt to overthrow a cybermafia boss.  Villa Maria Academy’s Megan Ronan is Main Line Student of the Week (March 11-17) To read the article on Megan Ronan click here A senior at Villa Maria Academy, Megan Ronan is Co-President of the school’s Latin Club as well as Co-President of the Latin Honor Society. Ronan also is a member of the National Honor Society and Math Honor Society. She is a Peer Minister and is a member of the school’s Biology Club and Chemistry Club, and is President of the Ping Pong Club. Ronan is Co-Vice President of Quill and Scroll Honor Society, Editor in Chief of Villa Maria’s Literary Magazine, Copy Editor-In-Chief of the school’s newspaper and finished in second place at a PSPA regional competition for Yearbook Copy Writing. A libero on the Villa Maria Academy volleyball team, she received second team All-District and second team All-Main Line volleyball honors.
