A senior at Academy of Notre Dame, Katie Barth is a Global Citizen Scholar candidate, a Blue and Gold Key Society member, and active member of Mock Trial and Model UN clubs and started Academy of Notre Dame’s Book Club. She has volunteered through National Charity League for the past five years, and has volunteered at Mitzvah Circle for years, organizing a shoe drive and collecting over 100 pairs of shoes which she delivered to them this past summer. Barth also has worked in soup kitchens, stocked pantry shelves, helped at Special Olympics events, led activities with elderly and made blankets for children in hospitals. She held the position of Co-Vice President of Philanthropy within National Charity League last year for her age group, and organized volunteer activities in that position. Barth has earned the gold Presidential Service Award, by completing more 100 hours a year of service each year during high school. In the summer, she serves as a camp counselor.
